"Founding History"
In the Tsukikan district of Sapporo city since the Meiji era, wool and livestock operations have been active in the production of wool used for military clothing, but after the war the demand for wool decreased and it was diverted to meat and became popular around the area. To spread this food culture as Genghis Khan cuisine, the membership-based club "Seiyoshi Shikan Club" was launched in 1953, and the cooking method of eating sauce afterwards is now called the Tsukikan (Sapporo) Genghis Khan.
The mutton that is eaten at the “Seiyoshi Shiyan Club” uses mutton with a unique smell, but our first Bunshiro, who was assigned the meat of the meat to eat here, was a member of the mayor of Sapporo and a landowner at the time of its founding・ Because of the big business such as the political and business world, it was provided with a meat method that allows you to enjoy the richness and umami without smell, and then spread to the general public. At present, the mainstream of Genghis Khan in Hokkaido is soft lamb meat without smell, but it inherits the meat method and tradition that has continued from that time, and offers fresh and delicious mutton as "Munjuro's Jingisukan".
How to eat Genghis Khan
Things to prepare
Lamb meat / vegetables / Jingu citrus sauce / Jingu citrus hot pot / Gas stove / seven wheels / Rice / Beer guarana
If you don't have a hot pot, you can use your own hot plate or frying pan. You can use whatever vegetables you like! Onions, peppers, pumpkins, asparagus and mushrooms are especially recommended.
How to bake
Apply the fat (sheep fat, lard, salad oil, etc.) to the whole pot and put the vegetables around.
Next, the meat is baked in the center of the pot, but the gravy soaks into the surrounding vegetables and can be eaten deliciously.
When the juice comes out from the surface of the meat, it is time to turn it over.
Once you've baked the returned meat, it's time to eat it.
Lamb meat Jingi Sukan has a little red meat (medium rare) and is soft and delicious.
